I wanted to update about meeting Ingrid. It was awesome. She’s really down to earth and funny in a way that I deeply appreciate. Everyone was supposed to bring a guest, but no one wanted to go with me, so I went alone. Being alone, I took a booth. Because I’m like that. And I ended up meeting TJ and his wife Tara, who sat with me. TJ’s the drummer in a local band, Saving Stimpy. They are awesome people, and I am really glad I got to meet them. It was like actually being social. Imagine!

She sang “Breakable”, “The Way I Am”, “Keep Breathing” and told us the stories behind the songs as well. And we got to ask her questions. Because I made friends with the DJ who was asking (Fritsch!! I love her!), my question was asked first. Ok, I’m sure that had nothing to do with it. But I like to pretend we are BFFLs now, so STFU. and the good news is, there’s a new album, coming out next year, and she is working on it.

Ok, seriously. Ice and bed.
